After already providing the voice of Kathryn Janeway in the 'Voyager: Elite Force' game, Kate Mulgrew will soon be appearing in another sci-fi video game: Interplay's 'RLH', in which Mulgrew will be providing the voice of an alien warrior priestess.

'RLH' is a new third-person, sci-fi action game being developed by Interplay for release on the Playstation 2. Besides Mulgrew, it will feature Lance Henriksen ('Millennium') as the player character, Nick, a military hero exiled to a deep-space mining station. In the game, Nick returns to the station after a visit to a planet, and finds everyone on the station either dead or dying at the hands of a brutal and intelligent alien race. Subsequently, the player of course has to defeat the race.

Mulgrew's character in the game is Dr. Mek, an an alien warrior priestess who forms an uneasy alliance with Nick in order to survive the hostile alien threat.

Other cast members include Michael Ironside as Commander Mason, and Brad Dourif, who in fact appeared in three episodes of 'Star Trek: Voyager' as Lon Suder.

Interplay CEO Brian Fargo was quite proud to feature such a "talented Hollywood cast in RLH," he said. "Their talent in previous work will bring sci-fi and horror to life in RLH."

'RLH' is currently in development at Interplay development studio Digital Mayhem, and will be released in the third quarter of 2001.
