Hello World!

Today's poll you ask? Well, you knew is was bound to happen eventually, giving my track record as a hopeless 'shipper… Yes, I've been the one running the recent relationship polls - and this from the woman who claims not to have a romantic bone in her body I hear you say. Ok, so maybe I have one – but it was forcibly implanted by various 'shipper friends of mine. Just make sure you vote right – people who vote for Harry will find me on their doorstep one day, when they least expect it, brandishing an axe… I mean, come on – Harry and Seven? I've seen more real chemistry in an 8th grade science class. Whereas she and the Doc… well, you only have to watch that last scene in 'Body and Soul'. Not that *I* have, of course...

In other news – I very nearly succeeded in electrocuting myself this morning when my alarm clock went off and I knocked over a glass of water on my bed-side table in the process of fumbling for the sleep button. That was the quickest I've woken up (not to mention the earliest) since I can't remember. I did manage to get all the power-cords out of the way before they got wet, but several of my favorite books weren't as lucky. :( Alas, poor 'Carpe Jugulum' (which actually isn't one of my favorite books, but it did take the most damage) will never be the same again.

Back to the poll, if you want to know just how popular this sort tends to be, look at it this way – in the half an hour it took me to write this and finish researching the news bullets, over 70 people have voted – and almost 30 of them voting the way I was hoping they would. Hehehehe.
