Greg Fuller at the Star Trek Nielsen Ratings Information Database has put up some fairly positive news for 'Live Fast And Prosper', yesterday's new Voyager episode:

"Live Fast and Prosper" reeled in an average rating to kick off Voyager's last set of new episodes, drawing a 4.3 rating, 7 share. That's level with the rest of the season and fairly average considering the last few months.

"Live Fast" took fifth place over the WB's newly-rescheduled "Felicity," which finished with a 2.9/4 in sixth. Fox took fourth with a special "Party of Five" taking a 5.1/8. "Seven Days" returned after a week-long break with a 3.2/5.

A look at what this means for the remaining few episodes can be found in the full report.

In other ratings news, Dave Arquati at the Star Trek Collective has, after a long break, resumed reporting British television ratings again. Here's a snippet from the report, with some very good news about how the DS9 finale performed in the UK:

It's a congratulations for Deep Space Nine, as the finale ratings come out. Monday 3rd April's showing of "What You Leave Behind" placed it fifth highest in that week, with 910,000 (0.91m) viewers - 40,000 above The X-Files and 70,000 behind ER, a remarkable rating.

Even better, the previous day's special "DS9: The Last Salute" got more viewers than the finale itself, with 1.31 million viewers watching, placing it second - just 0.3m behind Sky's highest rated programme, Friends. As Sky One has a maximum possible audience of about 4 million viewers, this is an impressive figure - almost a third of the total available audience.

The full report also contains info on how Trek performed on BBC Two during the week ending the 8th of April.
