Enterprise executive producer Rick Berman recently provided some hints about what lies in store for fans when the series returns from reruns next month.

The season's final six episodes kick off on April 21 with "Damage", which Berman described as a "very interesting episode". "Archer is forced to make a decision about committing an act of piracy for the sake of completing his mission," the producer told Ian Spelling in issue 114 of the Star Trek Magazine (via Sci-Fi Pulse).

"Damage" also reveals a piece of personal information about one of the show's major characters. "We're going to start learning that T'Pol has been addicting herself to miniscule injections of trillium ever since our zombie episode ["Impulse"]."

On April 28, episode 20, "The Forgotten", will air. According to Berman the episode "furthers, to a strong degree, what is going to eventually be the conclusion of the season. It deals with the Xindi and the weapon."

Berman didn't give much away about the season's final instalments, except to say that the writing team is pulling out all the stops to create a memorable conclusion to the season. "With Mike Sussman, Chris Black, Manny Coto and Brannon [Braga] and me, we're fighting our way towards the logo, as they say, in terms of the last four episodes of the season. We're hoping they'll be filled with some really exciting stuff and some relatively shocking surprises. The Xindi arc will be resolved almost entirely, and I underline the word almost. So I will leave you with that."

To read the complete interview, in which the producer also talked about rumours that Enterprise will be cancelled, pick up issue 114 of Star Trek Magazine. Alternatively, further excerpts are available at Sci-Fi Pulse.
