  • A report at Ain't it Cool News on the upcoming special edition 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' DVD has revealed that, not only will it contain no theatrical trailer, but it is currently being revised and re-edited because comments of various former executives "reveal too much internal information" about Paramount's film operations.   • Eon Magazine's Idolatry Pages department have added William Shatner (Kirk) to their list with an article and some photos.

  • Sunday night's episode of 'The 'X-Files' contained something of a Star Trek in-joke, with a character (who got eaten by rats) being named after after Andre Bormanis, science consultant and writer for Star Trek: Voyager.

  • Sci Fi Wire is running another trek-orientated poll, this week asking if you approve of the idea of Captain Janeway getting a 'real' man.

  • The official site has posted another sensor sweep, listing at who's currently in the movies and on tv. While most of the listings are for actors who only had guest rolls, there is of course Jeri Ryan's upcoming movie 'Dracula 2000', which also stars Christopher Plummer (General Chang) and 'Miss Congeniality', which features William Shatner.

  • Psi Phi's Star Trek books database has been updated with the front cover image and back cover text for the audiobook (also available on audio CD), 'Q: Did I Say That?', a sequel to last year's "Spock vs. Q: Armageddon Tonight".

  • Also at Psi Phi's, they've posted word that editor Margaret Clark said yesterday that 'the Voyager Companion', to be written by Paul Ruditis, is currently on-schedule to be published near the end of 2001.

  • According to the Daily Buzz, Pocket Book Star Trek editor John Ordover and SCIFI.com site editor Dave Mack will be appearing on Eyada today to discuss their parody web site technicalvirgin.com. Ordover and Mack will speak on "The Big Show," which airs at 2:30.

  • According the the official Jeri Lynn Ryan site, the actresses appearance on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 20.
