UPN Wednesday night debuted the trailer for next week's Enterprise instalment, entitled "Extinction".

In the episode, Archer, Reed and Hoshi mutate into a primitive lifeform after being infected with a virus on an alien planet. LeVar Burton (Geordi LaForge) directed from a script by executive story editor Andre Bormanis.

The 20-second promo is available online courtesy of the Daily Trekker and StarTrek.pl. For those of you will slower connections, here's a transcript:

AN ALIEN RACE BEING HUNTED

[Alien decon agents move through the jungle.]
[T'Pol runs through the jungle.]

TO EXTINCTION

[The alien decon agents fire their weapons.]
[T'Pol continues to run through the jungle.]
[Phlox listens to Tret, the head of the alien decon team.]
[Shot of Tret as he stands in sickbay.]
Tret: "They all had to be destroyed."
