I really don't understand how people can still do anything in hot weather. It's 31 degrees here in the Netherlands right now, and the only thing I'm able to do all day is just staying very close to the bottles of mineral water in the fridge. On the other hand, one of my neighbours (who is originally from Sudan) looks to be enjoying himself more than ever with this temperature, which I suppose is about near winter temperatures over there, and apparently all those tens of thousands of football fans aren't hindered by the weather either. It's at times like this that I like the supermarkets now being open until 10:00pm - there's no way I'm going out to shop during mid-afternoon, even if that means I don't have dinner until eleven. That way at least I can expect myself to by regular food - if I'd go out now, the dinner I'd come home with would probably just consist of loads of ice cream.
