Blalock, Picardo To Appear On 'Stargate'

Robert Picardo and Jolene Blalock will join the ranks of Star Trek actors who have guest-starred on Stargate SG-1 — a list that already includes Marina Sirtis, Rene Auberjonois and John Billingsley.

A report from the SFX convention in London this weekend posted at Gateworld contained information from Stargate actor Michael Shanks. He announced Blalock's appearance in the episode currently filming, entitled "Birthright".

Executive producer Joseph Mallozzi said that the character played by the Enterprise actress is named Ishta, a leader of Jaffa warrior women in the seventh season episode "Birthright."

Voyager's Robert Picardo will appear in "Heroes", a two-part episode which will air in the second half of the current season.
