Shatner's 'Show Me the Money' Shown the Door

Days after announcing that William Shatner (Kirk)'s game show Show Me the Money would be picked up for six more episodes, production has been shut down after a drop in key demographics.

Digital Spy reported that ABC reversed its decision to order the additional episodes after seeing last week's numbers.

The show did not suffer any great ratings drop overall, but among adults 18-49, it was down nearly 15% from the previous week and scored only a 5% share.

Through January, ABC will air the seven episodes of Show Me the Money already filmed, then temporarily move America's Funniest Home Videos into the time slot.

In happier Shatner news, the actor appeared on The Late Late Show several weeks ago, where he spoke about whether Kirk would appear in Star Trek XI. VRRRM has the interview.
