Fancy taking Shinzon's fearsome Scimitar for a spin? The new 'Star Trek Nemesis' add-on pack for 'Starfleet Command III' allows you to do just that.

Activision and Taldren have released a special downloadable supplement to the strategy game, according to StarTrek.com. The add-on pack includes a single-player mission set prior to the events of the new movie 'Star Trek Nemesis,' concept art from the film, and updates to the Enterprise-E.

In the new mission, the player is placed in command the state of the art Scimitar's test-run, but things don't go according to plan and the Romulan ship is attacked by pirates.

"We actually have several very subtle tie-ins to the movie in the game itself," said associate producer Dan Hagerty. "When you're playing the Romulan campaign, your commanding officer refers to having to go meet with Senator Tal'aura, and big changes are in the wind. If you've seen the movie and you play the game, you'll pick up on them."

The add-on pack features the voice of Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, while franchise veterans Vaughn Armstrong (Admiral Forrest), James Horan ('Future Guy') and Brock Peters (Joseph Sisko) lend their voices to other roles.

Please note that this add-on pack can only be used with an existing version of 'Starfleet Command III' and cannot be played on its own. To download the 11 MB supplement, head over to this page. 'Starfleet Command III' can be ordered from Amazon.com for $44.99.
