Keating Gets a Break In 'Prison'

In addition to a recurring role on Heroes this season, Dominic Keating (Reed) will have a role on Prison Break.

StarTrek.com reprinted a notice from Daily Variety stating that Keating had landed a role on the third season of the Fox drama, which sees most of its regular characters back behind bars after last season's relative liberation.

"This isn't some sissified American maximum security prison like Fox River State Pen, though. Our heroes now find themselves in Sona, a Panamanian facility that only houses the worst of the worst," wrote a blogger at Zap2It.

Information about Heroes this season has been carefully protected by NBC. Keating's character has been described as an Irish criminal, but there has been no confirmation about whether or not he will have special powers. Several other Star Trek alumni, including George Takei (Sulu) and Nichelle Nichols (Uhura), will appear on Heroes this season as well.

Keating also has a role in Robert Zemeckis' upcoming Beowulf, with a star-studded cast including Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn and John Malkovich.
