'Major Revelations' Ahead On 'Enterprise'

With the recent focus on the Delphic Expanse, the Xindi and MACOs, it may seem like Enterprise's original story arc, the Temporal Cold War, has been pushed to the background in season three. But that couldn't be further from the truth, according to executive producer Brannon Braga.

"We have some major revelations, coming up later in the season about our future guy and the Xindi's future guy, because they have one, too," Braga told TV Guide's Danny Spiegel.

That doesn't necessarily mean either of these mysterious visitors from the future will be unmasked later this year. "Whether or not we will reveal their identities, we haven't gotten that far yet," the producer said.

Enterprise is also featured in TV Guide's new "returning favourites" issue, on newsstands now. The magazine provides an overview of this year's timeslot showdowns, including the Smallville-Enterprise face-off at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, which begins on October 1 (story). "If there is a Superman cult overlap, this struggling Star Trek prequel could be in real trouble," the magazine said of Enterprise's chances of reigning supreme in the ratings wars.

The original interview with Brannon Braga can be found here. To read the showdowns article, pick up the latest issue of TV Guide. Thanks to Craig Morris for this!
