  • This morning, William Shatner (James T. Kirk) appeared on Howard Stern's radio show to promote his new book, 'Star Trek: Preserver'. According to the report on MarksFriggin.com, they talked about pretty much everything except for the actual novel, though Shatner did mention he would be attending a book signing today at the Barnes & Noble. Other subjects included Shatner's Jewishness, an intern at the Stern show who is both a big fan of Shatner and had a theory about a everyone having a gay experience in his life, and a few phone calls where people could talk to Shatner. The full report can be found here.

  • In addition, Shatner will be appearing this evening on 'Late Night With Conan O'Brien' on NBC. Other guests include Rich Hall and Sonic Youth.

  • And finally, Shatner's new novel, 'Preserver', is still doing well on the sales charts. It has moved up to no. 20 on the New York Times Bestseller List, and it has entered the Hardcover Independents v. Chains bestseller list at number 12.

  • Thanks go out to Jeff 'Koganuts' Koga, John A.D. Holt and the Bring Back Kirk campaign for these items!
