'Lineage' - copyright Paramount Pictures After 'Shattered' aired yesterday, UPN of course started promoting next week's episode, the B'Elanna Torres/Tom Paris story 'Lineage'. Courtesy of Media Trek, a digitised version of the 20-second promo trailer for the episode is now available online. For those with less bandwidth to spare, here is first a transcript of the trailer:

[Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres kiss in a Voyager corridor.]
[Somewhere else, B'Elanna falls to the floor, is helped by Seven of Nine.]
[Close-up on Seven]
Seven of Nine: "She's pregnant."
[B'Elanna is crying, Tom consoles her, she embraces him.]

BUT WHEN TWO SPECIES HAVE A CHILD

[Paris and Torres meet with the Doctor.]
The Doctor: "Klingon and human metabolisms sometimes... clash."
[Medical display showing a DNA analysis.]

YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL GET

[Seven of Nine turns her head, looks]
[Torres, on a medical bed, looks up, a bit frightened.]
[Paris and Torres stand somewhere.]
Tom Paris: "She's our daughter! She's not a monster!"
[Torres places someone's hands on her belly, to feel the baby.]

AN ALL-NEW VOYAGER

[Close-up on Janeway]
Tom Paris (off-screen): "Can you show us... the baby?"
[In sickbay, a holographic projection of the baby floats around.]
[Torres looks at it]
