  • The official site has posted another Trek Alumni casting update, offering a brief look at the upcoming roles of Alexander Siddig (Bashir), Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher), Kirstin Dunst (Hedril in the TNG episode "Dark Page") and Famke Janssen (Kamala in the TNG episode "The Perfect Mate").

  • UK magazine 'Cult Times' has gone Christmasy for their December 2000 Winter special edition, looking at how the holiday might theoretically be celebrated aboard various sci-fi shows. A small excerpt from the special, including their take on a Voyager Christmas, can be found here.

  • Jeri Ryan's (Seven of Nine) recent guest appearance on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' has apparently been postponed until next week, according to her official website.

  • Patrick Stewart (Picard) has been signed on along side Martin Short as the voice of King Goobot, the leader of the Yokians in new Nickelodeon cgi film, 'Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius', according to this press release.

  • 'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country' will be available on DVD in the UK from around March 5, 2001, according to DVD Street. Thanks go out to Mark Beer for the tip!

  • The Official Robert Picardo (The Doctor) homepage has posted three photos from the recent Hollywood Christmas Parade.

  • The latest issue of the Optical Data Netowrk is out, containing the usual thorough round-up of news and information. For those who haven't suscribed, issue 115 can be found here online.
