Upfront Reveals First Glimpse Of Series V Sets

When UPN officially announced Enterprise last month, the network's upfront presentation included a three minute promo for the series, featuring the first look at the sets for the new show.

Now, courtesy of Media Trek this presentation has made its way to the Internet. The clip includes commentary from Rick Berman (Executive Producer), Marvin Rush (Director of Photography) and Herman Zimmerman (Production Designer).

The promo itself is 25 MB, but a full transcript, together with images of the Enterprise sets, can be found below.

WITH THOSE FAMILIAR WORDS, THE STAR TREK SAGA BEGAN

[McCoy working in sickbay.]
[The TOS crew beam down to a planet.]

Chekov: "Course heading, Captain?"
[Kirk is sitting in the Captain's chair.]

HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN FROM ONE GENERATION TO THE NEXT

[Deep Space Nine, orbiting Bajor.]
[Spock, lying down, grasps Kirk's hand.]
[Ilia walks towards a shimmering column of light.]
[Kirk and Spock on the bridge.]
Kirk: "Did we just see the beginning of a new life-form?"
[Sisko pats Jake's face.]
[Picard standing on the bridge.]
Picard: "You are the finest crew in the fleet. And I would trust my life with each one of you."
[Data, turned around from the Ops console.]
[Troi, sitting in her chair on the bridge.]
[Worf and Tasha Yar stand side by side at tactical.]
