After Captain Janeway has given her last order on Voyager next week, it will be a bitter moment for many fans of the series. But UPN 9 in New York plans to sweeten the pill for viewers by already giving them the first glimpse of the next Star Trek series, Enterprise.

Speaking during the weekly Star Trek feature on UPN 9 News (via P/K All The Way, presenter Pat Collins said that next week the show will have "a sneak peek behind the scenes on Enterprise, the new Star Trek series starring Scott Bakula." The series will have been filming for over a week then, giving UPN 9 ample opportunity to find some good footage.

Before that happens, however, Voyager still has to air its series finale, and yesterday's edition of the UPN 9 News show contained an extensive preview segment of 'Endgame.' Besides new clips from the show, it also included some thoughts from Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway) on the ending.

"I don't think there is anybody who is really a devout fan who will not be satisfied with the finale," Mulgrew told the station. "It's a mind-blower. It's high-quality science fiction and it's a complete heartbreaker. It's everything you could wish for."

Below is a transcript of the 'Endgame' clips that were shown during the newscast:

AN OLD AND GREY ADMIRAL JANEWAY PULLS A RANK ON A YOUNG CAPTAIN JANEWAY

[Admiral Janeway on the Voyager viewscreen.]
[Reaction shot on Captain Janeway, camera zooms in.]
[Close-up on Janeway, Seven in the background.]
[Admiral Janeway on the viewscreen, speaking.]
Admiral Janeway: "In case you didn't notice, I outrank you, Captain. Now do it."

(Mulgrew:) IT'S A COMPLETE HEARTBREAKER

[Lit by two candles, Tuvok is writing on a piece of paper in the asylum.]
[Admiral Janeway tenderly pulls up his head.]
[Close-up on Admiral Janeway as she tries to get through to Tuvok.]
Admiral Janeway: "I'm going away and I may not see you again."

ONE CHARACTER DOES NOT AGE IN THIS EPISODE. HE, OF COURSE, IS THE HOLOGRAPHIC DOCTOR.

[Admiral Janeway stands next to the Holodoc, who's looking a tricorder. He's saying something, and she walks away.]
[Admiral Janeway, dressed in blue, holds up her uniform (?) and presses it to her chest.]
Admiral Janeway: "How's married life?"
[The Doctor sits on his sofa."
The Doctor: "Wonderful. You should try it."

ALSO NEXT WEEK, B'ELANNA AND TOM'S LONG-AWAITED BABY WILL ARRIVE

[Baby shower scene from 'Human Error.']
[Harry Kim and Tom Paris swiftly walk through one of the Voyager corridors.]
Harry Kim: "Don't you want to find a way home?"
[Paris briefly turns to Kim.]
Tom Paris: "I am home, Harry."

A FLOWER-BEARING SEVEN MATERIALISES IN CHAKOTAY'S BEDROOM
[Seven of Nine beams into Chakotay's darkened quarters, holds up flowers.]
[Close-up of Chakotay, looking down at the flowers.]
Chakotay: "We should put these in water."
[Chakotay and Seven kiss.]

(Mulgrew:) I WOULD RATHER JUST THINK OF IT AS A MARVELOUS, GREAT CHARACTER TO PLAY

[Admiral Janeway embraces Harry Kim (?).]
[In a shuttle, Admiral Janeway speaks to her unseen co-traveller.]
Admiral Janeway: "I always assumed it was a one-way trip."
