As seen at Toy Fair 2008, there will be plenty of new Star Trek toys arriving in the stores this year representing all of the Star Trek series.

As reported at Trekmovie.com, the new Star Trek toys were previewed at the Toy Fair 2008, held in New York. 2008 will bring many new Star Trek toys to the toy store shelves, ranging from toys based on the original series, to toys based on the upcoming Star Trek XI movie and all series in-between the two.

From the original series era, there will be: a classic tricorder, an eighteen-inch Kirk figure, a Spock figure, Minimates, a Spock bust, and Mego figures.

Star Trek: The Next Generation toys include Mimimates and ship models of the Enterprise-D and Future Enterprise-D.

Quite a few Star Trek: Deep Space Nine figures are due to be released, including: Bashir, O'Brien, Kira, Martok, Worf and Gowron. There will also be Deep Space Nine Minimates offered.

Star Trek: Voyager-based toys will include several Borg figures, including a Borgified Seven-of-Nine.

Several toys based on the movies will also make their appearance, including (from Star Trek: The Motion Picture): figures and Mimimates, (from Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan): a Kirk bust, Minimates and a Wrath of Khan phaser.
