On Thursday night, UPN organised a party in the Hollywood Las Palmal club, featuring the stars of shows such as 'WWF Smackdown!', 'Moesha' and of course 'Star Trek: Voyager'. Also present was Brannon Braga, who talked about the progress he and Rick Berman are making on Series V.

"We're working on the new series now," said Braga. "Rick Berman and I are busily writing the pilot and we don't know when we'll be able to announce anything officially. [...] I would imagine in the next six months. [...] Because we're immersed in it, in the writing of it, we're just not prepared to say anything yet until we have everything nailed down, when we know where it's going and when it's going to air, all that kind of thing."

Besides Braga, Voyager was represented by Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Tim Russ (Tuvok) and Ethan Phillips (Neelix). Both Russ and Ryan told Zap2It that they would miss the show, and they said that they didn't know whether the show would return home. Surprisingly, they both apparenly also said they weren't really sure if they wanted the ship to go home at all.

More about the event can be found in the StarTrek.com report, in which the Voyager stars talk about their future after the show, and Zap2It's report, which also focuses on the other UPN shows.
