  • According to a report on UltimateTV, the WB has announced its programming schedule for next season. In an unusual move, the Wednesday 9:00pm slot, opposite 'Voyager', will be filled first with 11 episodes of 'Felicity', and then 13 episodes of 'Jack and Jill'. Either show could fill out the remainder of the season, but UltimateTV says it is likely this will be 'Felicity'.

  • The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has announced both Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) and George Takei (Hikaru Sulu) will be present at their 11th Annual GLAAD Media Awards ceremony . At the event, awards will be handed out to groups and people in the entertainment industry striving to give "balanced and accurate representations" of the homo- and bisexual community and the issues that affect their lives.

  • Falcon Entertainment today announced the launch of InVision Records, a new record label. One of the vice presidents of the company will be Ricky Lawson, renowned drummer and musician, who also worked on the soundtrack of what the press release calls 'Star Trek 5: The Journey Home', presumably meaning either 'Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home' or 'Star Trek V: The Final Frontier'.

  • Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) will be appearing in the May 21 season finale of 'Futurama', according to this AP article. The main attraction of the episode, however, will presumably be the guest appearance by U.S. Vice President Al Gore, and physicist Stephen Hawking, also Trek alumnus (from TNG's 'Descent').

  • ABC, according to its fall schedule announcement, will be showing 'The Drew Carey Show' at Wednesdays 9:00pm next season, followed by 'Spin City' at 9:30pm, thereby having both shows compete with Voyager.

  • And CBS has announced it will be showing its Wednesday Night Movie then.

  • Issue 262 of Starburst Magazine includes an interview with Voyager staffer Michael Taylor, talking about some of Trek's best recent episodes. The issue also contains a news article on 'Things To Come', looking at all the various Series V rumours. The new Starburst is on sale in the United Kingdom for £3.25 now. Thanks go out to Gustavo Leao for this!

  • Totally Kate! has put up another report from the recent Holodiction convention in Australia, where Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway) also appeared. The report repeats most of Mulgrew's comments we read about earlier.
