  • Spike TV begins a Star Trek movie marathon on Monday, including The Motion Picture, The Search For Spock, The Voyage Home and The Undiscovered Country which has not yet aired on Spike.

  • Scott Bakula is scheduled to appear on The Wayne Brady Show on January 20th. Thanks to Miri.

  • The Sun has a photo and brief article on William Shatner (Captain Kirk) attempting to surf.

  • Priceline has uploaded its new ad campaign featuring Shatner and Leonard Nimoy (Spock).

  • Nancy Hower (Ensign Samantha Wildman) has just completed work on her independent film Memron, which will be shown at the Slamdance Film Festival. Thanks to The Unofficial Nancy Hower Homepage.

  • Dwight Schultz (Reg Barclay) will co-host a new radio show called Dark Matters along with Don Ecker every Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. PST. Thanks to Cynthia.

  • Star Trek Voyager Center reports that Voyager's first season will be released on DVD in Germany on May 3rd. Every two month another season will be released.

  • Earthlink users report that the internet provider has sent notice that StarTrek.net powered by EarthLink will be discontinued as of March 31st, at which time customers will moved to standard EarthLink DSL service.

  • The Guardian ran an editorial saying that Star Trek: Enterprise "has lost its way somewhat...not even the geeks are impressed."

  • The Northern Star Online has a parody article about President Bush trying to lasso Trekkie votes.

  • The Globe and Mail cites the popularity of Star Trek in praising the idea of manned Mars missions.

  • Wigglefish has a review posted of Star Trek: The Case of the Colonist's Corpse: A Sam Cogley Mystery, by Bob Ingersoll and Tony Isabella.

  • TrekNews.de has a gallery of over 90 shots from "Chosen Realm."

  • "Proving Ground" trailers are available at TrekNews.de, DailyTrek.de, Star Trek Norge and TrekSector.

  • The Sci-Fi Channel has obtained the cable rights to the first four seasons of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda.
