October 15, 2003 - 10:15 PMIn an upcoming episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, a rescue mission proves disastrous for Enterprise, causing Captain Archer to sabotage his own ship.
According to information at TrekWeb, when Archer's crew aids a damaged Triannon ship, offering medical and engineering assistance, the crew's altruism is repaid by betrayal as the aliens take over Enterprise.
The Triannons do not have the same warp capability as Enterprise, and their leader, D'Jamat, tries to take the ship into their space. After Archer's sabotage, he tries to convince one of the aliens to allow him to regain control of the ship, in defiance of D'Jamat's orders.
The preliminary storyline for this twelfth episode, currently known as "Untitled Sphere", includes at least five Triannon guest roles, though the script is not finalized and may change. The title suggests that the mysterious spheres of the Expanse may figure in the plot.
As with all spoilers, this information should be considered rumour until official episode information becomes available from Paramount.
