Regular Enterprise director Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) can be seen in front of the camera this fall in The Lyon's Den.

"I am also currently filming, as an actor, an episode of Lyon's Den, a new NBC series starring Rob Lowe," Dawson wrote at her official web site. The actress is the second Star Trek: Voyager cast member to appear in the NBC legal drama: Robert Picardo (the Holodoc) will play the recurring role of Detective Nick Traub in five of the first eight episodes of the series.

The Lyon's Den revolves around a pro bono lawyer, Jack Turner (played by former West Winger Rob Lowe), who is offered a partnership at a prestigious law firm after the managing partner dies under mysterious circumstances. Picardo will make his first appearance in the pilot, which will air at 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28. It is not yet known when Dawson's episode is scheduled to air.

Dawson is currently in the midst of editing her latest Enterprise episode, "Exile", in which a telepathic alien makes contact with Hoshi Sato. The actress-turned-director said she's enjoying work on both sides of the camera. "It is such a gift to be able to go back and forth between acting and directing... to be able to do the two things I love so so much. As soon as I finish filming and editing I will fill you in on details of both shows."

"Exile" is scheduled to air October 15 on UPN. Dawson's original message can be found here at her official web site.
