  • On monday's edition of his show, Howard Stern twice mentioned his 'Battle of the Bands' with Tim Russ (Tuvok) this Friday, mentioning that Stern and his band The Losers haven't even picked a song yet. A transcript of the show can be found here. Thanks go out to Jeff 'Koganuts' Koga for this!

  • And on Tuesday's show, Stern announced they've decided to go with Donovan's 'Hurdy Gurdy Man'. This was decided yesterday, and some musical arrangements were already made by his sound effects guy Fred Norris. Stern sang the song in a "soft, mellow" voice, which according to MarksFriggin.com actually sounded pretty well. Thanks go out to Jeff for this as well!

  • RanDoM Flight, the official fan club of Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris) has been updated with four pages of photos from the recent Slanted Fedore convention in Philadelphia, also including Roxann Dawson (B'Elanna Torres) not *saying* anything about rumours.

  • Reuters has distributed a photo of Patrick Stewart] (Jean-Luc Picard) arriving at the UK 'X-Men' premiere, as well as another one of him together with fiancee Wendy Neuss. Their marriage, incidentally, is now less than a month away.

  • Dr. Michio Kaku, a a theoretical physicist at City University of New York, is quoted in a Space.com article on artificial intelligence. Kaku apparently also is a consultant to Star Trek. Thanks go out to Jeff 'Koganuts' Koga for this!

  • The official Jeri Lynn Ryan Homepage has put up a page of scans from 'Just Deserts', the rare 1992 TV pilot featuring Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine) in a co-starring role.

  • Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway) will be appearing tonight on the 'Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn as his second guest. Thanks go out to Katie T for this!
