William Shatner (James T. Kirk) is to host a series of B-Movie classics for the Sci Fi Channel.

Shatner will the host late night movies for the cable network, the Sci Fi Wire announced yesterday. Each week a movie from the 'Full Moon Pictures' collection will be shown - branded as Full Moon Fright Night.

The cult horror movies, including titles such as 'Trancers,' 'Puppet Master,' and 'Horrorvision,' will be selected from Charles Band's archive of B-movie classics.

Each Full Moon Fright Night will feature guests connected with the movie, who will chat with Shatner in the studio. The Original Series actor will re-create some of the more memorable scenes from the movie himself - with his own unique style, of course.

Full Moon Fright Night will kick off on July 20th at 11:00 p.m Eastern Time on the Sci Fi Channel. More details can be found in the original article at Sci Fi Wire. Thanks go out to Stockbridge Truslow for this news.
