Now that filming on Enterprise has started, new info has also begun leaking out at a rapidly accelerating pace. After already posting a description of the series' uniforms earlier today (story), the Sci-Fi Wire just revealed the current title of the pilot episode.

According to the site, the episode will be entitled 'Broken Bow.' It also confirmed that the pilot will be helmed by veteran Trek director James L. Conway and will deal with the crew's first contact with the Klingons.

The pilot started filming yesterday, and will continue shooting until Thursday the 19th June. It has previously been reported that after production on the pilot has wrapped the studio will take a short break before starting regular production in early July.

The Sci-Fi Wire also posted more info on the Enterprise's Vulcan first officer, whose name was yesterday reported to have changed from T'Pau to T'Pal (story). The site confirmed this report, but instead called the character T'Pol. Which of the two sources on this made a typo is as yet unknown.

For the original report, please follow this link. As usual, please be aware that Paramount has made no official announcement yet about the name of the characters or the title of the opening episode. However, such info might be released two days from now, when UPN presents its Fall television schedule.
