Write For Decipher

By Christian
April 15, 2000 - 10:54 PM

Decipher, publisher of the official Star Trek Customisable Card Game, just launched a rather interesting initiative - in order to promote their card games, they're looking for writers to tell the world about Decipher's products, together with Decipher CCGs Media & PR guy Jonathan Quesenberry.

The company is looking to "build a group of writers who can produce compelling and interesting reads", and who will then start contributing to the most important magazines for collectible card games, as well as the mainstream press. In addition, the writers will be able to visit one of this summer's biggest conventions of the year as an official member of the press, with US writers able to choose between DragonCon, Origins, Comic Con International, Wizard World or GENCON, and European writers Essen or the European GEN CON.

To participate in the writers' search, you will have to send Decipher one strategy article of about 500 words, and one general product review of about 300 words, before the 1st of May. Winners will be announced a week later. For more info on the contest, follow this link.
