First Official UK Convention Approaching

E-11 — the first official UK Star Trek convention to be organised by a UK company — is set to take place next month.

"[I'm making it] more of a show than a convention," organiser Manny Patel told Star Trek Monthly. "Since it is the first licenced event I was determined to make it the best ever. Guests will be at the event to entertain on stage, answer fan questions and be there to meet in person."

The event, hosted at a converted cinema the Coronet, will play host to the mix of Trek cast members past and present. Confirmed to appear at the event are John Billingsley (Phlox), Dominic Keating (Reed), Linda Park (Sato), Connor Trinneer (Tucker), Terry Farrell (Jadzia Dax), Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko), Roxann Dawson (Torres), Tim Russ (Tuvok), James Darren (Fontaine), Chase Masterson (Leeta) and Tom Hardy (Shinzon).

The event is only open to those aged 18 and over, and tickets start at £100 for the entire weekend.

You can find out more about the event at the E-1 web site.
