StarTrek.com has invited fans to participate in choosing the next Fan Collective DVD sets, including episodes featuring all five regular captains plus a special selection of "guest captains" and a box set of alternate reality episodes

The survey, which can be found on a link from StarTrek.com's main page, asks fans to choose among lists of episodes about Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway, and Archer, plus a separate list of "honorary captains" including times when Spock, Riker, Kira, et al served in command capacities. Fans can vote for up to five episodes per captain and can volunteer titles not listed in the survey.

The final page of the survey is for the alternate realities set, which will include all eight Mirror Universe episodes from the original series, Deep Space Nine and Enterprise, plus fan favourites chosen from this selection. Readers are also asked for suggestions for future Fan Collective DVD sets.

At the end of the survey, fans are given a chance to enter a contest for a giveaway for a box set of Star Trek: The Animated Series, which will be released on DVD on November 21st in North America. Fans can pre-order the set at Amazon.com.
