Threshold supervising producer Mike Sussman's first episode for the CBS show, which finds the Threshold team facing a DJ spreading an alien signal through music, is set to air tonight at 9pm Eastern Time.

Sussman's episode of Threshold will be the show's fifth to air. MikeSussman.net describes the episode: "When a Miami DJ becomes infected with the alien signal and begins incorporating it into her music, Molly and the team must find the young woman before she spreads the deadly sound across the entire city."

Sussman is one of several Trek alumni working on the freshman drama. Threshold is headed up by former Star Trek: Enterprise showrunner Brannon Braga, and Trek veteran Andre Bormanis is also a staff writer for the show. Brent Spiner (Data) is one of the stars of the show, which revolves around a team of scientists trying to stave off an alien threat.

Sussman is a longtime Trek writer, having been on staff of both Star Trek: Voyager, where held the position of story editor, and Enterprise, where he was a producer. Sussman penned a plethora of episodes for both series, including Voyager's "The Swarm" and Enterprise's "Anomaly," "Twilight" and "In a Mirror Darkly Part 1 and 2."
