The publisher of the UK science fiction magazine Dreamwatch has announced that it will be reprinting classic Star Trek comic adventures beginning in September 2005.

Titan Books will bring out Star Trek Classic Comics: To Boldly Go, containing never-before-collected classic comics that have been out of print for many years. Originally printed in the 1980s, the comics will be published in graphic novel format with exclusive new interviews and background material on these adventures of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, et al.

"With Enterprise coming to an end, we thought this was the perfect time to remind people about these fantastic Classic Star Trek stories," noted Nick Jones, the senior books editor of Titan and a former editor of Star Trek magazine. "The books, packed as they are with extras, are also an excellent opportunity to use the lessons we've learned on previous deluxe collections, such as Battlestar Galactica and Transformers, to give a truly intergalactic property the treatment it deserves."

The comics were originally published in the early 1980s as a follow-up to Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. After To Boldly Go is released in September, a volume of Star Trek: The Next Generation comics, The Hero Factor, will be released in November, with additional volumes to follow in 2006.

More information as it becomes available will come from Titan Books.
