Hello World!

Today I have discovered that there are worse things the women's changing rooms in clothing shops on a hot Summer day.

That is of course, shopping on said intolerably hot Summer day with your mother attempting to be helpful.

"Oh, that's much nicer than that baggy sack you were wearing this morning" she said, instantly damning my Manic Street Preachers khaki green t-shirt. "Ooh, look at the flowers on this dress - why don't you try it on?"

I thought this was something you left behind along with your teenage years, but apparently a seemingly innocent trip to allow one's mother to take back a faulty item can turn into the shopping trip from hell. And let's not even get started on the way she criticised my driving. I'm surprised she didn't trip over her own cliches.
