The people at Bring Back Kirk sent in an official announcement about the newsletter recently launched for the fan campaign:

The Bring Back Kirk campaign is proud to announce the launching of its new newsletter, the Official Bring Back Kirk Newsletter. Now all the fans and supporters of the effort around can have a weekly update of ideas and campaign events. It is the hope of the BBK officials that many people subscribe to this newsletter, and even participate, as features will include updates, news, information, and exclusive interviews that you will only find in the BBKN!

Subscription is free, and you, if you wish, can unsubscribe at any time! Your e-mail remains confidential within the officials of the Bring Back Kirk movement and the Bring Back Kirk Newsletter! All members are strongly advised to sign up for this newsletter as this mailing list will also feature updates on our efforts that are not part of the main, weekly newsletter! For those who are supportive of the Bring Back Kirk effort, it is crucial that you subscribe to this newsletter as the information that is provided in newsletter issues will be a method of determining whether or not we are successful in Bringing Back James T. Kirk. To subscribe send a BLANK e-mail to this address: bbknewsletter-subscribe@egroups.com.

Besides news about the campaign, the newsletter will apparently also soon feature an exclusive interview with Robert Meyer Burnett and Mark Altman, the creative team behind the 'Freen Enterprise' film.

In other BBK news, their site was apparently selected as last week's Site of the Week at the Science Fiction Weekly.
