Hello World!

Firstly, thanks to everyone who wrote in saying that they knew what on earth I was talking about re: the 'terrible book', as it was often called in my e-mails. I may now proudly state that the full title of the book is ""Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," and it's by Judith Viorst. It can even be found here at Amazon.com.

Secondly it's another one of those days where I don't actually really have anything to complain about, aside from the usual pre-christmas stress. I saw not one spider, had not one person step on my broken toe, got to sleep in for a pleasant change, logged on to discover that my ISP has finally processed my payment and would allow me connection again and that the server was even behaving itself. It's a miracle! And last night I even discovered that two of my friends are very ticklish – so much so that, in addition to undergoing various highly amusing contortions, the spent the entire evening flinching every time I moved, much to my enjoyment. I have the added bonus of not being ticklish myself, so they were unable to retaliate.

Hehehe. I'm evil and proud of it!
