UPN has premiered the trailer for Star Trek: Enterprise's "Countdown", which airs next Wednesday night.

During this episode, directed by Voyager's Tom Paris, Robert Duncan McNeill, from a script by Andre Bormanis & Chris Black, the Reptilians torture Sato in the hope that she can decipher the weapon's firing codes as Archer and other Xindi try to stop the weapon from reaching Earth.

UPN WEDNESDAY

[Ships fly into a fiery portal.]
[Text: 'WEDNESDAY']
[Music: Choral]
[Archer, on a Xindi ship, watches an explosion.]
[A Reptilian picks up a metal device.]
[The device is pressed against Sato's head and she screams.]

THEY WILL GAMBLE THEIR LIVES...

[A ship plunges into a fireball and breaks up.]
[Text: 'THEY WILL GAMBLE THEIR LIVES']
[A Reptilian fires at an Enterprise crewmember, who is beamed away just as the blast hits.]

...TO WIN BACK THE WORLD.

[The Xindi weapon moves through space.]
[Text: 'TO WIN BACK THE WORLD']
[A small pod is destroyed on the surface of the weapon.]
[Archer is aboard a Xindi ship with a Humanoid and an Arboreal, speaking to the Aquatics.]
Archer: "Help me save my people."

SOME WILL NOT RETURN.

[Enterprise flies over the weapon, firing and dodging fire from Xindi vessels.]
[Text: 'SOME WILL NOT RETURN']

[T'Pol checks readouts as the ship shakes.]
[A planet appears to be fragmenting.]
