During this episode, directed by Voyager's Tom Paris, Robert Duncan McNeill, from a script by Andre Bormanis & Chris Black, the Reptilians torture Sato in the hope that she can decipher the weapon's firing codes as Archer and other Xindi try to stop the weapon from reaching Earth.
