  • Steven Culp (Major Hayes) will chat at StarTrek.com next Wednesday, May 19th, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

  • The Futon Critic reports that PAX will produce an original one-hour special, Mission: Space, hosted by LeVar Burton (Geordi LaForge), featuring interviews with former astronauts.

  • The Salem Statesman-Journal notes that Burton will also give the commencement address at and receive a fine arts degree from Willamette University this Sunday. Thanks to Jon and Brooke.

  • StarTrek.com attended the official opening of the Montalbán Theatre (named for Khan actor Ricardo Montalbán) last weekend and reported on the red carpet arrivals.

  • Robert Duncan McNeill's official web page reports that the Tom Paris actor has donated a set tour and walk-on role on next season's Star Trek: Enterprise to benefit the Wildwood School. Details on eBay.

  • In other set tour news, Lower Decks has a report on a rumour of a set tour cancelled because the sets were being torn down.

  • Jumbuck Entertainment announced that it had acquired the rights from Viacom Consumer Products to develop and distribute wireless games based the original Star Trek series. Thanks to TrekWeb.

  • According to PR Newswire, Brent Spiner (Data) will appear in the Showtime movie Jack, starring Stockard Channing and Ron Silver.

  • Totally Kate! passes on a report from TV Shows on DVD that Dallas will be released in August, including Kate Mulgrew (Janeway)'s episode.

  • NBC will broadcast Star Trek: Insurrection on Saturday, June 5th at 8:00 p.m. Thanks to Matt.

  • Trekpulse has put up screencaps of chapters 4 & 5 of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

  • TrekNews.de, The Daily Trekker, StarTrekNorge and Trek Sector have uploaded previews for the next Enterprise episode, "Countdown".
