Hello World!

Complaining about the weather is a British national pastime. And because I don't like to damage my national stereotypes, I'm going to moan.

It is too bloody hot. What happened to Spring? It was snowing at Easter, and now all of a sudden it's vest and ice lolly weather.

But while the Sun is out none of the trees have leaves yet. Which just goes to show how bizarre nature thinks this whole weather thing is. Knowing my luck it will be Autumn next week. Oh for the plane-fare to California, where I could go and annoy my friend in person. She tells me she has trouble recalling what a storm cloud looks like.

My my, is she ever in for a shock when she comes to visit. I shall refuse to share my umbrella.
