Robert Duncan McNeill (Tom Paris) will soon be expanding his directing resume with new assignments on three television series.

McNeill is set to return to the Paramount soundstages later this month to direct his second episode of Enterprise, according to his official web site. He previously helmed the Temporal Cold War outing 'Cold Front' in season one.

After his excursion to the 22nd century the actor will beam back down to Earth to helm another episode of 'Dawson's Creek' in late February. McNeill has become a regular contributor to the WB drama series, with his most recent directorial efforts, entitled 'Day Out Of Days' and 'Rock Bottom,' set to air on January 15 and January 29, respectively.

McNeill is also currently "finalizing arrangements" to direct an episode of genre series The Dead Zone in late March or early April. Based on the Stephen King book of the same name, The Dead Zone is executive produced by Trek veteran Michael Piller and stars Nicole deBoer (Ezri Dax).

For those itching to see the former Voyager flyboy in front of the camera, his latest film, 'Infested', is set for DVD release on February 4. The independent movie, written and directed by Josh Olson, centres around a group of friends who come together for a funeral à la 'The Big Chill' only to be terrorised by killer flies. Trade paper Variety described the film as "a fun cheapo horror romp that makes no claims to profundity but displays truly acerbic wit and a deep conversance with the genre." The DVD is available for pre-order from Amazon.com.

The original news can be found here at McNeill's official web site.
