The promo included several scenes from the episode, including T'Pol being questioned by Silik, Hoshi turning up at Reed's quarters topless, and Archer and Daniels walking through a ruined 31st-century Earth. In addition to the 'Shockwave, Part II' footage, the trailer also featured new interviews with Scott Bakula (Jonathan Archer) and Jolene Blalock (T'Pol).

MediaTrek.com has made the promo available online in the form of a 30MB MPEG video file. For those of you unable to download such a large file, a full transcript with images can be found below.

IN ITS PREMIERE SEASON 'ENTERPRISE' VENTURED INTO A WORLD AUDIENCES ONLY THOUGHT THEY KNEW

[Text: 'New Wednesday' on a yellow background with the UPN logo.]
[The NX-01 orbits the Paraagan planet.]
[The shuttlepod descends towards the planet, as seen in the 'Shockwave' teaser.]

AFTER ALL, THE SHOW'S TAKING PLACE 150 YEARS BEFORE CAPTAIN KIRK AND DOCTOR SPOCK CAME ALONG

[Master shot of the shuttlepod - Reed is in the pilot's seat, with T'Pol and Captain Archer behind him. T'Pol is talking.]
[T'Pol continues to talk as the camera focuses on her.]

SO THE FIRST MISSION OUT HAS FEATURED A LOT OF UNEXPECTED ADVENTURES

[The shuttlepod is rocked from side to side as the planet's atmosphere ignites.]

SOME OF THEM QUITE HUMOROUS

'Shockwave, Part II' photo - courtesy MediaTrek, copyright Paramount Pictures

[Reed is in his quarters, as Hoshi, seen from behind, stands in the doorway.]
[Close-up of Reed as he looks her up and down.]
Hoshi: (off-screen) "Whatever you're about to say..."
[The shot changes to reveal Hoshi standing in the doorway, topless, covering herself with her hands.]
Hoshi: "...I don't want to hear it. Just get me a shirt."
[Cut to: Scott Bakula sitting in a dressing room, discussing the series.]
Bakula: "Sometimes we get into problems that we're not really prepared for yet. But that's been a lot of the fun of the first season - that we're not the perfect, got-it-all-together starship that most people are used to seeing."
[Enterprise fires phasers at several pursuing Suliban ships.]

BUT SINCE IT'S A PREQUEL TO THE ORIGINAL IT'S GIVEN BOTH CAST AND CREW A FRESH NEW PERSPECTIVE

[On the bridge, Hoshi turns from her console to T'Pol's station as the ship is shaken about.]
[The camera pans across the bridge to Trip, furiously pushing buttons at his console.]
[The phase cannon emerges from the bottom of the hull and begins to fire.]
Bakula: (off-screen) "It's really kind of invigorated everyone by going back, being the first, all the creative people had to re-think everything and all the visual effects people had to kind of start from scratch..."
[A pursuing ship is hit by the fire from the phase cannon, and slows down as it is damaged.] 'Shockwave, Part II' photo - courtesy MediaTrek, copyright Paramount Pictures
[The other Suliban ships continue to chase the NX-01 and are hit by phaser fire. One of the ships explodes.]
[On the bridge, the camera focuses on Hoshi at her station.]
Hoshi: "Enemy ships are overtaking us."
[The NX-01 flies downwards, continuing to fire at the Suliban ships.]
[Bakula in the dressing room.]
Bakula: "...and it just got everybody jazzed up again and the response has been fantastic."

BUT THE BIGGEST MISSION THE STARS FACE IS KEEPING TRUE TO THE STAR TREK PHENOMENON

[T'Pol draws her phase pistol and aims it at the roof of the shuttlecraft as Suliban try to break through.]
[Wider shot of the shuttlecraft, with Trip in the pilot's seat, Archer behind him urging the engineer on, and T'Pol in the background, phase pistol at the ready.]
[Cut to: Jolene Blalock sitting in a dressing room.]
Blalock: "The viewers, in this case with Star Trek, I mean they are avid viewers. If we launch a missile out the wrong port, then we're going to get letters."
[T'Pol is lifted roughly off the ground by two Suliban. As she struggles, they increase their hold on her.]
T'Pol: "No!"
[Trip jumps down from a Jefferies tube in the ceiling.]
Blalock: (off-screen) "So if I do something wrong as a Vulcan - I mean, who am I to create a character and this alien that has existed in the hearts and minds of the viewers for so many years? So, how am I going to carry that off?" 'Shockwave, Part II' photo - courtesy MediaTrek, copyright Paramount Pictures
[T'Pol continues to struggle as the Suliban drag her towards the transporter platform.]
[Reed darts in from behind and presses a hypospray into the neck of one of the Suliban, who falls to the ground. The camera pans across to Trip, who does the same to the other Suliban.]
[Trip grabs the Suliban's phase pistol and moves to help T'Pol.]

AS WE ENTER A NEW SEASON, THE ENTERPRISE IS ON ITS WAY HOME AFTER APPARENTLY CAUSING THE DESTRUCTION OF AN ALIEN PLANET

[A shuttlepod pulls away from the Suliban helix, breaking the shuttle dock and causing several Suliban to fall into space.]
[The shuttlepod flies away from the surface of the planet.]

AND SCOTT BAKULA'S COMMANDER ARCHER IS LOST IN TIME SEARCHING FOR THE ENEMY SULIBAN. THE FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS?

[Overhead shot of Archer and Daniels walking through the ruins of 31st-century Earth.]
[The camera switches to a closer shot of the pair as they traverse the remains talking to each other.]
[Cut to: Scott Bakula sitting in the dressing room.]
Bakula: "Well first of all they have to figure out how to get me back."
[Archer and Daniels stand in the ruined city.] 'Shockwave, Part II' photo - courtesy MediaTrek, copyright Paramount Pictures
Archer: "You brought me 800 years into the future - into this future - I think I deserve some answers!"
[The camera slowly moves around the scene as Daniels replies.]
Blalock: (off-screen) "How are we going to get our captain back? And first off, where is he?"
[Blalock sits in the dressing room.]
Blalock: "And we're also about to be attacked by the Suliban, who thought that he was on his way to their ships. So they don't believe us, they think that we still have him, we think that they have him, but really he's slipped somewhere in the middle."
[T'Pol lies restrained onboard the Suliban ship. Silik is leering over her.]
Silik: "Your captain is gone. Did Daniels take him into the past or the future?" 'Shockwave, Part II' photo - courtesy MediaTrek, copyright Paramount Pictures
[Under obvious duress, T'Pol slowly begins to speak as the camera moves to capture her whole face.]
T'Pol: "The Vulcan science directorate has determined that time travel is impossible."
[The camera moves up to Silik, who draws in his breath in fury.]

THE SEARCH PROMISES PLENTY MORE OF WHAT THE CAST BELIEVES HAS MADE THE SHOW A SUCCESS

[Shot of Earth from the opening sequence.]
[From 'Shockwave' - on the bridge, Archer enters his ready room. Trip and T'Pol slowly follow him.]
Bakula: (off-screen) "What's great about this show - this version - is that they're trying to recapture a lot of the energy from the Original Series..."
[Close-up of Travis as he stares at the threesome leaving.]
[Shot of Archer's head as he looks out the window.]
Archer: "The mission's been cancelled."
[Two-shot of Trip and T'Pol as they react.]
Trip: "Cancelled?" 'Shockwave, Part II' photo - courtesy MediaTrek, copyright Paramount Pictures
[Master shot as the three talk in the ready room.]
[Bakula in the dressing room.]
Bakula: "...a lot of the camaraderie, the friendship between the crew, a lot of the humour, which we've, I think, been pretty successful at, along with a great sense of adventure."
[Blalock in the dressing room.]
Blalock: "I think that that loyalty is just going to grow and grow and grow. From the Original Series, there was an immense loyalty and respect between Bones, Kirk and Spock. It's a matter of slowly showing how that came to be."

AND THE GROWING FLEET OF 'ENTERPRISE' FANS WILL BE ANXIOUS TO SEE THAT PLAY OUT

[The NX-01 leaves orbit and warps off into the distance.]
