Recurring Star Trek: Voyager cast members Brad Dourif (Lon Suder) and Scarlett Pomers (Naomi Wildman) will join the Duff sisters in the thriller Kentucky Fried Horror Show, "a fast paced, edge of your seat thriller" according to the film's director.

Hollywood Today reported on the casting, a surprise to the reporter because Hilary and Haylie Duff have cultivated a family-friendly image. Director C.L. Gregory said that Haylie will be the star of the film, while Hilary, a singer as well as an actor, will appear briefly.

Gregory promised "buckets of blood" in the horror drama about a group of college students on a road trip who find themselves being stalked in the Appalachian mountains. Gregory did not say what roles Dourif or Pomers would play. The former has a lengthy resume of eclectic and sometimes frightening characters, including The Lord of the Rings' Wormtongue, while the latter played the main character's daughter on Reba after her stint on Voyager.

Kentucky Fried Horror Movie "will shock and appease horror fans who love their blood and gore, yet not for the faint of heart or easily sickened at the site of blood and torn flesh," said Gregory, who said there would also be some sexual content in the movie. His Blood Lake became something of an instant cult classic. The movie will be shot in rural Kentucky and eastern Tennessee.
