Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto were two of the presenters at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony last night.
As reported by TrekMovie.com, with their work on Star Trek XI being completed, Pine and Quinto are keeping busy with other projects which included last night's "66th Annual Golden Globe Awards," where they gave out the Best Actress (Drama) award.
http://justjared.buzznet.com posted pictures of Pine and Quinto at the ceremony. The Star Trek XI actors presented Anna Paquin with the Best Actress-Drama award for her role of Sookie Stackhouse in HBO's True Blood vampire series.
Quinto was back fresh from Bordeaux, France, where he helped ring in the New Year, as reported by zacharyquinto.co.uk. "Jared Gradinger, [curator and guest of honor at the event] is one of my best friends," said Quinto, when asked what drew him to France for the New Year's celebration. "With VJs and DJs and all those different mediums it's a really great festival. Having celebrated it in L.A. for several years, it's to spend the holidays in France, I'm here for ten days. I arrived for Christmas and I'll stay a few days in Paris which I know already. On the other hand, it will be my first time in Bordeaux!"
Before ringing in the New Year (see video below,) Quinto briefly discussed Star Trek XI. "I'd known about the project for a while and I presented myself in interviews as being interested in the role [of Spock,]" said Quinto. "The success of 'Heroes' was certainly in my favor. We filmed for six months last year in the studios at Paramount and then in Iceland. It was for me an unforgettable experience to play Spock when he was young, more so as the story is focused entirely on him."
Quinto was asked which TV shows he watches. "For the ten last years, I have watched 'The West Wing', 'Six Feet Under' and 'In Treatment', which is about a therapist and his disastrous private life. I remain fascinated by psychology."
