  • SyFy Portal has posted an interview with author Diane Duane, in which she discussed her series of "Rihannsu" novels, dealing with the Romulan culture. "I've been following what I believe to be Dorothy Fontana's lead, mostly, and thinking of [the Rihannsu] (to a certain extent) as Romans," she told the site, "but Romans caught in that difficult post-Republican period, when memories of a smaller, simpler Republic keep jostling up against the needs of a growing Empire."   • As part of her weekly column at About.com, Julia Houston has posted her Voyager spec script, entitled 'The Branch', submitted during the show's second season.

  • The latest edition of Michelle Erica Green's 'Frequencies' column is up at Cinescape, and includes commentaries on Trek and other genre series.

  • David E. Sluss at The Cynics Corner has posted his Voyager Season Seven Review, including the Fourth Annual Cy Awards. He awarded the series's last season a 6.5/10 overall.

  • StarTrek.com has posted a round-up of Trek alumni in film and television.
