Pocket Books has released the cover art for and list of contributors to Prophecy and Change, the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine trade paperback story anthology scheduled for release in September 2003.

Psi Phi's Star Trek Books Database has released a list of writers for the collection, edited by Marco Palmieri. One of the highlights of the collection is a Garak story written by actor Andrew J. Robinson: "The Calling", set after the series and serving as a sequel to his novel A Stitch in Time.

Other stories include Keith R.A. DeCandido's "Broken Oaths", a fourth-season story about Bashir and O'Brien, Jeffrey Lang's "Foundlings", a late sixth season Odo story, and Terri Osborne's "Three Sides to Every Story", which spans the early sixth-season arc from "Sons and Daughters" through "Sacrifice of Angels" and focuses on Jake Sisko and Tora Ziyal.

The collection will include ten stories in all.
