Hello World!
*sniff*
By this time tomorrow, I will have seen 'Homestead,' the episode in which Neelix bids a fond farewell to the Voyager crew. The promo was emotional enough - I don't have any idea how I'll last through the entire episode. I've already ordered 10 truckloads of tissues for 'Endgame.'
I for one have always enjoyed Neelix's contribution to the crew, even in the slightly ridiculous moments like the infamous hair-pasta scene in 'Parturition.' In many ways, I love the end of a series; it gives me the chance to look back and remember the characters and situations fondly - even when they're downright ridiculous.
For Neelix, there'll be his first bath on Voyager (who could forget that classic Neelix/Tuvok moment?), when he turned Janeway's private dining room into a kitchen in 'The Cloud' and that scene in 'Deathwish' when he thought Janeway was after a replacement for him - "Rarebit? Rarebit? What is a rarebit anyway? Is this some new chef she's interviewing?"
Pure Neelix. Classic Voyager. I'll miss them.

The first spoilers for Voyager's sixth season emerged, saying that it would feature "an episode where Voyager is captured by aliens and is then taken apart." Looking back, I can't seem to recall any episode matching this description. - Spoilers For Final 3 DS9 Episodes
The fantastic Faith provided us with some great spoilers on the final DS9 installments. Tidbits included the revelation that Sloan was married, the arrival of a new Defiant-class starship, and the surrender of the Female Changeling, which all turned out to be true. - Hans Beimler SFX Interview
DS9 Co-Executive Producer Hans Beimler was interviewed by UK science-fiction magazine, SFX. In the interview, Beimler talked about the plotting of the series, and how in the end, it had "a life of its own." He added that the finale wasn't planned far in advance so that the writers could keep their options open.
