In Enterprise's penultimate episode, Earth's human population turns out to be almost as threatening as any alien enemy encountered by Captain Archer over the past four years.

"Terra Prime" will continue the story started in "Demons," in which representatives from several alien races gathered on Earth to found an interplanetary alliance. But while Starfleet brass and other Terran political leaders support the formation of a Coalition of Planets, out on the streets disgruntled humans are joining ever larger anti-alien demonstrations. In "Demons," the situation grew so threatening that Trip Tucker was dispatched to infiltrate a group of humans trying to bring down Starfleet.

In one of the opening scenes from "Terra Prime," several alien ambassadors will meet with Earth leader Nathan Samuels to express their concerns. The Andorian ambassador Thoris gets a report through his communicator that protestors are chanting outside his planet's embassy, and they're so angry they're using words that aren't even in the universal translator. Vulcan ambassador Soval notes that the leader of the anti-alien protests, a man named Paxton, has so many supporters that it may not even be possible to continue the conference. Samuels desperately tries to calm down the ambassadors, knowing that his dream of a Coalition of Planets is at stake...

This episode will also feature an ambassador named Karash, who represents an alien race known as the Ithanites. This race has previously been mentioned in "Azati Prime," in which Archer was told that in one possible future, the Ithanites would be joining the Federation during the 26th Century. They are described as being rather short and copper-coloured - meaning they may actually be the same alien race that was already seen once before in the Original Series episode "Journey to Babel," though they were not given a name then.

Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by Paramount Pictures or UPN and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from early script drafts and the details and the airing order of the episodes are liable to change before the episodes are shown.

"Terra Prime" will air on the 6th of May, a week before the Enterprise series finale. The episode was written by showrunner Manny Coto.
