Hello World!

Today starts my tenure as a writer for TrekToday. Some of you are familiar with me from TrekBBS, where I have been the board manager for the past three years, and a member of the BBS for seven years. But who am I? Let me tell you a little about myself.

My name is Bonnie, although I’m known around the Internet as either TBonz or Bonz. I am married and the mother of three daughters; one who is grown and two who are in college. I reside in the sunny state of Florida, where I share a house with my husband and a menagerie of birds and a guinea pig.

I’ve been a Trek fan since 1971. I’m old enough to have seen the original series, and I believe I saw one or two first-run, but with one television in the house and two parents who didn’t appreciate the goodness that was Star Trek, my own exposure to Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock had to wait until first syndication. I’ve been a fan ever since. Although I’m an old school fan, I happen to like all of the series, from the original series through Enterprise. I’ve seen all of the movies, most often on opening night, and I plan on seeing the new one on opening night too.

I look forward to sharing the news of Star Trek and those who create one of our favorite universes with my fellow fans. Live long and proper!

Bonz
