Romulan Senate concept art - copyright Paramount Pictures Continuing with a final push to promote 'Nemesis' before its theatrical debut, Paramount Pictures recently released an online 'Nemesis Communicator' that gives users access to unique material from the movie.

Downloadable from the main page of the official 'Nemesis' site, the 'Communicator' isn't quite as fancy as the real deal used by the crew of the Enterprise, but still includes some interesting features for fans. The program includes exclusive content such as concept sketches of several of the film's locations, shown along with the final finished sets, and several effects photos from 'Nemesis.' In addition, fans can download items such as wallpapers, the official screensaver and AIM buddy icons.

The program, which is only available for the PC, is intended to stay dormant in fans' taskbars whenever they have an open internet connection, and alert them of updates to the official web site or the availability of new online trading cards. Not all of the 'Nemesis' trading cards are yet available, and thus Paramount promises this will help fans obtain all nine cards and in this way improve their chances in what is labeled as the 'Ultimate Nemesis Sweepstakes.'

The 'Communicator' can be downloaded from the official 'Nemesis' site.
