Star Trek Magazine, a new bimonthly publication, arrives on the news stands August 22nd with exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes access to Star Trek XI as it develops.

CBS Consumer Products has licensed the rights to Titan Magazines, according to a Titan Magazines press release. The first issue will be released this fall to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise and will feature interviews with all five Star Trek captains from Kirk to Archer.

The magazine will showcase work from cartoonist Dave Reddick and columnist Dave Rossi. Each issue will contain retrospectives, interviews with cast and crew members, news on new projects and merchandise and answers to questions from fans.

The first issue, for instance, has an interview with Matt Winston, who played time travelling agent Daniels on Star Trek: Enterprise, and a look back at a classic Star Trek episode.

Titan Magazines include official publications for Smallville, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars and several other action and science fiction franchises. The first issue of Star Trek Magazine arrives on newsstands on August 22nd.
