A deal has reportedly be made and will go to the writers this weekend, according to Michael Eisner.

As reported at CNBC, Eisner, appearing on CNBC's Fast Money said that an agreement has been reached. Rumors had been floating around the Internet since last week regarding a possible settlement.

"It's over," Eisner said. "They made the deal. They shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general."

It is still possible that the agreement could be rejected by the writers and Eisner hesitated initially when asked the question, before saying, "A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon. I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."

According to Eisner, the deal was struck last Friday. He did not elaborate on terms of the agreement.
