John Cho may co-star in Flash Forward, a new sci-fi series in development by ABC.

As reported by IGN.com, Cho would be working with both Brannon Braga (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek:Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise) and David S. Goyer, who created the short-lived Threshold series.

Flash Forward is based on a science fiction novel by Robert J. Sawyer. It tells the story of what happens after an experiment on super-high-energy conducted by physicists goes awry resulting in everyone in the world blacking out for two minutes and seventeen seconds. When the world population awakens, they have had a mysterious vision of the future.

If Cho takes part in Flash Forward, he may be working with Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love), who is in talks to play the lead role in Flash Forward. Courtney B. Vance (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Jack Davenport (Pirates of the Caribbean, Swingtown) have already been cast. Vance will play a Los Angeles bureau chief of the FBI and Davenport will play a man who is in Northern California when the event occurs who is trying to reach his son who is in a hospital.
